About Our Satellite Production
ABS provides a unique turn-key solution specifically for multi-city satellite and webcast broadcast productions. Each program is assigned an Executive Producer (EP) who is responsible for taking all the elements associated with a full blown studio production and constructing a professional broadcast. The EP is responsible for the pre-production, the production, and the post-production. Each production is broken into four distinct components:
- Pre-production: As part of the pre-production, the EP approves and contracts all vendors/partners based on the client specifications and requirements. These vendors are inclusive of but not limited to, the satellite provider, the broadcast studio, local venue audio-visual, webcasting, audience response, catering at the studio, creative, and on-air talent.
- Pre-broadcast day: Pre-production consists of a production walk-though/rehearsal with all vendors associated with the broadcast, in addition to a client preconference to cover the following points: broadcast schedule of events (shoot walk-though) with broadcast director, studio and vendors.
- Production day: On the day of broadcast, the ABS EP will manage and coordinate all moving parts of the production with the studio director.
- Post production: Post broadcast, the EP schedules and conducts a formal post conference meeting with the client to review best practices, areas of improvement, critical success factors, and key learnings to be implemented for future broadcasts.
